Navigating Nantucket
Nantucket is a small island measuring just14 miles east-to-west and 3 miles north-to-south!
The map highlights a few key locations to provide some bearings.
Staying in Town (near where the ferries come in) will provide the most options for exploring by foot! There are restaurants, boutique shops, bookstores, and more all along the adorable cobblestone streets.
To get to the Wedding from Town, you’ll have 3 choices to travel the 7 miles out to Sconset: Grab a cab, Take an Uber or Ride the Local Shuttle Bus. Anticipate it taking 20-30 minutes in seasonal traffic. To ensure you have plenty of time to arrive and find your seats, we recommend you depart Town no later than 4:15p.
To get back to Town after the Wedding, complimentary van service will be provided at 10pm and 10:30pm. All passengers will be dropped off in front of the Whaling Museum at the corner of Broad St and South Water St.
